ntroducing the magical story of Sabai grass from the tribal districts of Mayurbhanj, Orissa.Popularly known as "The Money Plant", the Sabai grass once planted gives yield for 10 years.The manufacture and making of Sabai products supports livelihood of more than 45 tribal groups throughout the year. 

The industry is associated with cultivation and raising production of grass and processing of a vast range of products over the last few years. Based on a self sustenance model, the process has ensured economic development and innovation of the industrial culture in the villagers to generate income throughout the year.

We work with a group of women from a few villages to create a range of Kaisori products with Sabai grass.

Introducing a range of Sabai handcrafted bags.Made with all natural and lead free chemical dyes which are skin and environment friendly and easily biodegradable.The bags are light,extremely durable and available in a host of colors.

Variation and irregularities in the fabric are part of the hand weaving process and are part of the beauty and charm of the handmade fabric.
